Update prices and understand Balance History
Save a dated valuation snapshot and compare actual balances with the plan over time.
When this applies
Use this for periodic plan updates after market movement, deposits, or withdrawals.
Where to enter it
Portfolio > Update Prices; Reports > Balance History
How to enter it
- Choose one balance date for the snapshot.
- Update available holding prices and review missing/provisional quote states.
- Save the snapshot, then open Balance History.
- Use the period summary and CSV export for the dated account record.

- Multiple updates on the same day collapse to the latest daily snapshot.
- Balance History separates actual snapshots from projected paths.
