Where to enter it
Simulation > Stochastic Analysis
How to enter it
- Choose run count, model, assumptions, shocks, correlations, guardrails, and seed behavior.
- Use a locked seed for repeatable comparisons or a new seed for a fresh sample.
- Select Save & run analysis; Apply and Reset only change the page draft until saved/run.
- Monitor the background job, then review success, percentile paths, stress summaries, comparisons, and sensitivities.
How YARCalc uses it
- Standard and fat-tail Monte Carlo, historical bootstrap, and two-state Markov paths use the same annual simulation engine.
- Results include p5 through p95 paths and confidence buckets.
- Seeded results remain deterministic across worker counts.
- Guardrails can reduce discretionary spending under defined stress.
