When this applies
Use this before testing retirement dates, Social Security, spending, strategies, or other alternatives.
Where to enter it
Scenario switcher > New what-if or Manage scenarios
How to enter it
- Keep actual balances, check-ins, reminders, and monitoring on the Home plan.
- Create a What-if from a copy, a supported planning idea, or an analysis result.
- Edit and analyze the What-if independently.
- Archive or restore What-ifs from Scenario Manager.
How YARCalc uses it
- A What-if keeps explicit lineage and its own versions.
- What-if action plans are previews; operational monitoring remains on Home.
