Portfolio > Scenario Editor > Accounts & Holdings > Add Holding
How to enter it
- Enter symbol or name, quantity, and current price.
- Enter total cost basis when tax treatment needs it.
- Choose Stock, Bond, Cash, Real estate, Commodity, or the closest supported broad asset class.
- Use a provisional market value when a quote or meaningful unit price is unavailable.
How YARCalc uses it
- Quantity times current price determines value once a quote is available.
- Asset class drives historical/stochastic return behavior and allocation guidance.
